JUMP START
Kettlebell training is unlike any other you’ve done. There are techniques you must learn to be not only safe, but successful. JUMP START is mandatory introductory class for anyone new to kettlebells and are interested in becoming a part of our program.
In JUMP START you will learn how to perform the six basic exercises we use in our classes. These exercises lay the foundation for more complicated and progressive movements. This class is offered virtually and in person.
8 Week Kettlebell Basics
This Class offering begins January 7, 2025 and runs through February 20, 2025
Lately it seems everyone is interested in training with kettlebells. But many have not learned the basics in kettlebell training to insure a strong foundation in their training journey. Join us for an 8-Week Kettlebell Basics where you will learn the 6 basic movements in traditional kettlebell training. This is a prepaid 8 week session that meets only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00am to 9:00am. Cost for the 8 week session is $256. To register and pay click on the Register Today. Below are the areas we will focus on throughout the 8 weeks:
Increased stamina. Many kettlebell users experience an increase in endurance when doing activities like sports. There have even been reports of kettlebell users who have run marathons without training for marathons but by only using kettlebells!
Increased overall daily energy and increased youthful vigor. Feeling good is very important to having a productive life. Kettlebell users from all over the world report having increased energy and even feel like they can reverse the hands of time. Often fixing injuries that have nagged them for years allowing them to participate in activities they stopped doing due to injury.
Decrease in body fat. Kettlebell exercises can be very demanding from an energy standpoint. Some exercises like the swing and the snatch burn up to twice as many calories per minute than traditional aerobic activities. Resulting in the afterburn effect—your body burning calories long after your exercise session is over.
The development of lean, hard, "bulk-free" muscles. Let's face it the only people who want big muscles are bodybuilders and teenage boys. The rest of us will settle for some nice definition in our muscles without stretching out our clothes and having our legs or armpits chafe. Exercising with kettlebells tends to help those who are overweight to lean out, and to add just the amount of muscle and definition to a slender frame.
Increased flexibility without spending time stretching. Another wonderful byproduct of using kettlebells is the automatic increase in flexibility. This style of workout strengthens weak muscle groups while simultaneously loosening and strengthening tight muscle groups, restoring the body's default settings for flexibility, alignment and muscle harmony.

Designed for all kettlebell levels—beginner to advanced—this class combines cardio, strength and overall training combining kettlebell movements, body weight exercises, some barbell lifts, ropes training, joint mobility and core conditioning. Learn how to use your body and a kettlebell to burn fat and build muscle in minimal time, building tremendous functional core strength, while staying safe for the joints.
